The wine has a high level of intensity for this variety combining distinctive fruit characters with richness from the oak. Medium in palate weight, it has early drinking and short term cellaring potential.

Free from herbicide use, this dry grown vineyard SE of Leasingham uses organic principles to produce a Grenache crop accurately reflecting the terroir and season. Hand-picked bunches were crushed then cold soaked prior to wild fermentation. The grape must was hand plunged regularly to maintain a healthy cap. After ferment, the wine was left on skins for extended maceration to maximise colour and flavour extraction before gentle basket pressing. French oak chip maturation ensures quality sensory development whilst minimising forest degradation. This wine is un-fined and un-filtered to maximise mouth feel and flavour retention. Decant and allow the wine to breathe for best results. Made in an easy drinking style, match with light to medium weight foods. 15.8% alcohol by volume. 750ml = 9.3 standard drinks.
