The wine has a natural acid backbone and structural tannins. The style is easy drinking on release with potential to mature gracefully.

Free from herbicide use, this dry grown vineyard SE of Leasingham uses organic principles to produce a crop accurately reflecting the terroir and season. By sourcing non-irrigated fruit for this wine, the sustainability of our environment is being maintained as a key principal of my wine production. Hand picked grapes were crushed in the cool of the evening and open fermentation commenced at 18ÂșC. The grape must was hand plunged regularly to maintain a healthy cap. After ferment, the wine was sealed on skins for extended maceration to maximise colour and flavour extraction. Gentle basket pressing took place over an 8 hour cycle prior to oak maturation. Only new French staves were used to ensure quality sensory development whilst minimising the oak felled in service to my wine. The wine is un-fined and un-filtered to maximise mouth feel and flavour retention. Decant and allow the wine to breathe for best results. My Grenache is made in an easy drinking style to pair with light to medium weight foods. 14.0% alcohol by volume. 750ml = 8.3 standard drinks.
